Anyone can learn anything
One of the biggest shortcomings I see when I reflect on my own education is that it was prevalently focused on learning facts. Today I know that most things that can be looked up aren't worth memorizing. Developing mental models and critical thinking are the essence of education.
Learning to learn is hard. Teaching the value of learning is hard. Mastery is a long process. The reality is that most things can be learned by anybody and it's difficult for all of us. The outliers are statistically insignificant.
Stay curious. Inspire others. Don't give up.
The feeling of "being late" is self imposed.Five years ago, you also felt like it was "too late" to start something. The thing is, progress doesn't care much about "when", only about "if".-
